Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or equivalent professional work experience.

At least six (6) years systems business analysis experience designing, planning, implementing and supporting large integrated complex multi-stakeholder projects that include requirements definition, scoping, requirements traceability and end to end business architecture as part of the solution.

At least four (4) years current experience facilitating discussions with key business stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, to drive out clear and concise requirements to ensure the solution will address the desired outcome and supports the fundamental business model.

Demonstrated communication skills, written and verbal, including working with individuals from diverse backgrounds (technical, business, professional and administrative).

Business analysis experience of at least two (2) projects implementing COCTS package solutions, supporting and decision-making with respect to troubleshooting and performing root causes analysis, and making recommendations for implementation options.

Proven analytical and problem solving skills in planning and high level design of creative solutions to meet business requirements, including decision-mkaing with respect to developing requirements into solutions using COTS packages.

Experience in analysis of business processes, workflow, business requirements and business process reengineering.

Experience in all aspects of use case modeling including requirements gathering use case model walkthrough with business userws and communicating use case requirements to the application delivery team.

Experience in business process documentation and the use of Business Process Modeling Notation.

Fundamental understanding of software development life cycles, application release management and software development methodologies.

Experience and/or an understanding of the core functionality and associated business processes.

Certification - Curam CT500 certification.

Curam Certified Professional CCP certification for v5.

Experience working and demonstrated Technical Analyst expertise and/or systems business analysis focus in at least two (2) Curam solution-based projects.

Experience with Government of Alberta IT environment.

Experience maintaining or managing quality assurance controls involving multiple IT products and services.

Experience in working in a multiple vendors and stakeholder environment.

Proven ability to establish rapport with the application delivery team, business users and the client organization.

Experience in taking over in-progress projects prior to production.
