DescriptionOur Client is searching for a Desktop Analyst to provide troubleshooting and maintenance. The candidate must be able to respond immediately to real-time issues and deliver guidance on system usage and configuration.

Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Ability to participate in a 7/24/365 on-call rotation.
  • Ability to work evenings and/or weekends and/or during block-time/change windows outside business hours (8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Alberta time, Monday to Friday).
  • Experience with troubleshooting Polycom video end-points, bridges and other video devices. (3+ years)
  • Experience with troubleshooting Cisco video end-points, bridges and other video devices. (3+ years)
  • Technical experience working with Windows. (5+ years)
  • Technical experience working with Microsoft Office. (5+ years)
  • Technical experience working with Internet Explorer. (5+ years)
  • Technical experience with Intel-based PCs and laptops. (5+ years)
  • Experience functioning in a team/group environment.
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Technical experience with personal handheld devices including Blackberry, iOS (Apple) and Android based smartphones. (3+ years)
  • Experience with using Cisco TMS (2+ years)
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Polycom video end-points, bridges and other related video infrastructure. (3+ years)
  • Experience with installation and configuration of Cisco video end-points, bridges and other related video infrastructure. (3+ years)
  • Experience creating training manuals and technical documentation. (3+ years)
  • Experience with VCScheduler software.
  • Knowledge network technologies such as switches, routers and/firewalls.
  • Experience with ITSM/Remedy.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Knowledge and experience of IP based videoconferencing network architecture
