DescriptionOur client is currently in search of a Business Analyst with Information Management and Data Collection and Reporting experience.

Project Description 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Must be able to attend test and interview in person in Edmonton.
  • Experience working in a middle to large scale ICT environment (+50 people) (5+ years)
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst (5+ years)
  • Experience working as a Business Analyst working with Information Management (IM) technologies, software architecture, and life cycles. (3+ projects)
  • Experience eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and business process modeling. (5+ years)
  • Experience documenting business rules and data models. (5+ years)
  • Experience working on concurrent projects. (5+ years)
  • Experience with projects spanning multiple technical environments. (5+ years)
  • Experience working with Microsoft SQL including developing and executing SQL statements. (5+ years)
  • Must have designed and developed Entity Relationship Diagrams (data model design) for custom applications. (5+ years)
  • Experience working with business users in defining key metrics and KPI’s. (5+ years)
  • Must have created and maintained source to target mappings documents, including information flow and data lineage documentation. (5+ years)
  • Must have designed and maintained data conversion specifications. (5+ years)
Nice To Have Skills
  • Experience developing Business Cases or Business Case Summaries. (5+ years)
  • Experience developing test scripts and performing system testing. (5+ years)
  • Experience working directly with clients and providing excellent customer service. (5+ years)
  • Experience working in a project/technical management role. (3+ years)
  • Experience developing and delivering training materials. (1+ year)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • The ability to: manage stress, manage conflict, communicate effectively (verbal and written).
  • The ability to learn quickly, problem solve/troubleshoot, work independently and in a team.
Work Environment1 year with possibility of 2 one-year extensions
