DescriptionOur client requires the services of a skilled Program Manager to facilitate, organize and coordinate activities around Information Management. As part of this, the role will also develop and implement an updated Information Management policy, which includes updated governance, enhanced strategy and the implementation of a service based delivery model.

Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience overseeing custom application development projects and/or application maintenance services. (10+ years)
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience leading a portfolio of concurrent projects or initiatives with a total budget of at least $3 million/Year. (7+ years)
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects or initiatives staffed with a team of at least 10 people. (7+ years)
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience defining program goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (7+ years)
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience developing program definition documents such as: roadmaps, governance, briefing notes, and business cases. (7+ years)
  • Demonstrated senior leadership experience managing program(s) in a complex business and technical environment. (7+ years)
  • Is available for an in-person interview in Edmonton, Alberta.
  • Is available to lead frequent (daily) face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams upon contract execution.
  • Experience managing projects involving information management, data collection, analytics or data science. (7+ years)
  • Experience with Enterprise business intelligence and performance management products. (5+ years)
Nice To Have Skills
  • Demonstrated experience leading custom software application development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology. (8+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. (5+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, including executive level. (5+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience leading change management. (5+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience negotiating with vendors and other external stakeholders. (3+ years)
  • Demonstrated experience writing program/project related documents such as: proposals, business plans, statements of work, RFPs, and strategy documents. (5+ years)
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Ability to manage stress and mitigate conflict.
