Project Description 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within an IT environment. (6+ years)
  • Experience in a project management role in a large and complex environment. (6+ years)
  • Experience working as a Project Manager in a large complex custom software application development environment. (6+ years)
  • Experience leading a portfolio of projects or initiatives at one time. (6+ years)
  • Experience leading complex (multi-stakeholder and multi-technology) projects. (6+ years)
  • Experience defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support project goals in collaboration with business stakeholders. (6+ years)
  • Experience developing project documents including: governance, business cases and reporting. (6+ years)
  • Experience managing multiple resources and/or delivery teams. (6+ years)
Nice To Have Skills
  • Experience in the project coordination of information management / information technology initiatives involving third party vendors. (4+ years)
  • Experience with project life cycle methodologies. (6+ years)
  • Experience creating and managing project forecasts. (6+ years)
  • Experience leading and facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels. (6+ years)
  • Experience writing proposals, briefings, business plans, work statements and strategy documents in support of business goals. (5+ years)
  • Experience leading change management and communication planning. (5+ years)
  • Experience developing and maintaining positive stakeholder relationships across the organization, including executive level. (5+ years)
  • Experience managing teams of at least 15 people. (4+ years)
  • The ability to learn quickly, problem solve/troubleshoot, work independently and in a team.
  • The ability to manage stress and manage conflict.
  • Advanced communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience using MS Project or other project management tools. (4+ years)
  • Experience working with teams consisting of staff, contractors and vendors. (4+ years)
  • Negotiating with vendors and other external stakeholders from the client side (2+ years)
Work Environment1 year with possibility of two 1-year extensions
