Job Opportunity
DescriptionOur Client is seeking up to three (3) Intermediate Project Managers to be responsible for the coordination and completion of IT projects. They will oversee all aspects of projects. Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarizes progress of project. Build and maintain working relationships with team members, vendors, and other departments involved in the projects. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Experience with Project Management within the Social Services Field (Public services that build stronger communities to promote equality and opportunities i.e. Education, Health, Community Services). (2+ years)
  • Experience leading and facilitating large scale projects (i.e. over $1M annual spend and/or multi-year projects or initiatives). (10+ years)
  • Graduation from a post-secondary institution (Bachelor's Degree). (4+ years)
  • currently active PMP Certification as issued by the Project Management Institute or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager for non-IT projects. (5+ years)
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • Education related to social science, humanities, business administration, public administration or related post-secondary education. (2+ years)
  • Experience developing an evaluation model to measure and evaluate projects to ensure project outputs contribute to program and organizations outcomes. (7+ years)
  • Experience managing multiple business projects, working in large complex environments, and leading diverse stakeholder groups. (7+ years)
  • Experience in problem identification and facilitating group problem solving (using process mapping, gap analysis, requirements gathering, etc.) to lead groups to clear decisions. (7+ years)
  • Demonstrated skills in Stakeholder Identification, drafting communications and applying change management principles to transform solutions into actions that bring concrete results. (5+ years)
  • Experience identifying, analyzing and managing project risks. (5+ years)
  • Proven ability to collaborate and maintain positive relationships with all levels including business areas leadership. (5+ years)
