DescriptionOur Client is seeking an Intermediate Infrastructure Project Manager to work directly with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition for migrations by gathering information; Monitor and support technical architects; Assist in the technical process gathering; and Work directly with technical support to understand specific technologies when migrating.

Project Description 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Experience in a project support role with the responsibility of multitasking work priorities for a minimum of five projects for an large and complex organization.
  • Demonstrated experience with project support activities including: scheduling meetings, attending meetings and taking minutes, providing timely documentation and updates. (5+ years)
  • Proven ability to contribute to project documentation including requirements documents, project scheduling, status reports, risk assessments. (5+ years)
  • Experience managing or assisting with managing a minimum of three IT infrastructure projects which involved a migration (migration is the relocation of hardware AND software from one environment to another, upgrades and enhancements will NOT be considered) of infrastructure in a large and complex environment.
  • Experience supporting a Project Manager in all phases of a project (initiating, planning, controlling and closing) on at least 3 projects.
  • Experience with managing or collaborating with 3rd party vendors in order to deliver a solution to a client. (3+ years)
  • Experience with IT change and communication methodologies. (3+ years)
Nice To Have Skills
  • Experience in gathering, documenting and working with business for IT implemented solutions where multiple stakeholders are impacted. (5+ years)
  • Communication experience with multiple organizational levels and stakeholders (e.g. written/verbal, developing and communicating presentations, project documentation). (5+ years)
  • Experience in resolving business issues and developing business solutions. (5+ years)
  • Experience with documentation of processes including identifying areas for process improvement. (5+ years)
  • Experience in MS Project, Excel Word, PowerPoint, and other office products (recent versions). (3+ years)
  • Experience in managing organizational and technological change. (5+ years)
  • Experience using interpersonal skills for negotiations and effective consensus building.
  • Proven ability to problem solve, find creative solutions and take initiative to complete tasks. (3+ years)
  • Experience in understanding the impact of policies, processes and procedures on performance. (4+ years)
Work Environment2 years with 1 possible one-year extension
