DescriptionOur client requires a Program Manager to manage an initiative involving a tech skills data platform solution, with supporting insight and analytics tools, that will provide a common resource for multiple stakeholders within and outside the organization.

Project Description 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • 3 years demonstrated senior leadership experience working in the post-secondary sector (ideally Canada) with a sound knowledge of its stakeholders, business functions and informational requirements.
  • 2 years with using Machine Learning products and techniques to solve business problems.
  • 10 years demonstrated senior leadership experience overseeing custom application development projects and/or application maintenance services.
  • 7 years demonstrated senior leadership experience leading a portfolio of concurrent projects or initiatives with a total budget of at least $2 million/Year.
  • 7 years demonstrated senior leadership experience managing a portfolio of concurrent projects or initiatives staffed with a team of at least 10 people.
  • 7 years demonstrated senior leadership experience defining program goals in collaboration with business stakeholders.
  • 7 years demonstrated senior leadership experience developing program definition documents such as: roadmaps, governance, briefing notes, and business cases.
  • 7 years demonstrated senior leadership experience managing program(s) in a complex business and technical environment.
  • 7 years managing projects involving information management, data collection, analytics and data science including data visualization tools.
  • 5 years implementing Data Governance strategies within the public sector
  • Must be available to lead frequent (daily) face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams upon contract execution.
 
Nice To Have Skills
  • 8 years demonstrated experience leading Information Management development projects following a formal project life cycle methodology.
  • 5 years demonstrated experience facilitating meetings with stakeholders at all levels.
  • 5 years demonstrated experience developing and maintaining positive relationships across the organization, including executive level.
  • Knowledge of the business of Alberta Advanced Education, including stakeholders, business functions, and informational requirements.
  • 5 years demonstrated experience leading change management.
  • 3 years demonstrated experience negotiating with vendors and other external stakeholders.
  • 5 years demonstrated experience writing program/project related documents such as: proposals, business plans, statements of work, RFPs, and strategy documents.
