DescriptionOur Client is seeking two (2) qualified individuals under two separate contracts to act as Senior Project Managers to enable business transformation.

Project Description 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Experience and knowledge of public sector organizations or regulatory environments, relevant legislation, industry reporting obligations, regulatory requirements
  • Minimum of ten years of experience at a senior level leading major projects of large scale and complexity that have multiple project delivery components
  • Experience managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and leading consultation sessions
  • Demonstrated experience writing briefing notes, business cases within a public sector organisation
  • Four years of recent experience supervising and leading senior level professionals in the development and implementation of complex projects
  • Experience with multi-faceted process and organization structure changes
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines and working independently
  • Experience in business planning, contract management, financial management, and negotiations
  • Experience with Scrum-agile practices and applying them to traditional PM processes appropriately
  • Experience in data and document migration projects
  • A minimum of 10 years demonstrated experience leading and managing business and IT projects of increasing complexity and size and at least one project with a significant component of organizational change management and ability to successfully drive completion of business and technology deliverables to schedule and budget
  • A minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience in program management
  • IMIT Project experience - experience and knowledge of complex, multi-component IMIT development projects and involvement with past successful implementations of public sector IMIT projects with a budget greater than $500,000.00
  • PM experience leading at least 3 large projects in an organization similar in a large and complex environment
  • Project Management Certification - appropriate accreditation in Project Management from a recognized body (PMP or Prince2)
  • Demonstrated Project Management experience - planning, establishing priorities and allocating resources in projects with similar in size and complexity across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability of monitoring and adjusting work to accomplish goals and deliver to the organization's mandate
  • Stakeholder engagement and Relationship management - managing complex partnerships where different parties have a piece of the critical path and different levels of investment in the timelines and outcomes
  • Demonstrated experience with multi-jurisdictional, multi partner projects where the ability to influence vendors and agencies is not directly under your control
  • Communications - Exceptional oral and written communications and the ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of stakeholders from executive to technical resources
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Ability to understand the requirements of each functional area
  • Demonstrated ability leading multi-disciplinary teams in business transformation initiatives and business process design activities to align business systems with new business processes and systems
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and manage a project and resource plan using project management software
  • The ability to deliver programs to time, scope and quality requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage deadlines and deliverables
  • Change Management experience managing change, communicating widely, handling resistance to change and facilitating implementation of successful change actions
  • Ability to identify potential risks and points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Change Management - experience managing change, communicating widely, handling resistance to change and facilitating implementation of successful change actions
  • Risk Management - Experience developing risk management frameworks and mitigation strategies
  • Issues Management - experience identifying issues and resolving them before they become critical
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office tools
