DescriptionOur Client is seeking one (1) qualified individual to act as a Senior Project Manager to support a business transformation.

Project Description 
Experience Required/ Mandatory Skills
  • Experience and knowledge of public sector organizations or regulatory environments, relevant legislation, industry reporting obligations, regulatory requirements
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience at a senior level leading major projects of large scale and complexity that have multiple project delivery components
  • Experience managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and leading consultation sessions
  • Demonstrated experience writing briefing notes, business cases within a public sector organisation
  • Four years of recent experience supervising and leading senior level professionals in the development and implementation of complex projects
  • Experience with multi-faceted process and organization structure changes
  • Experience managing multiple priorities, meeting tight deadlines and working independently
  • Experience in business planning, contract management, financial management, and negotiations
  • PM experience leading at least 3 large projects in a large and complex organization
  • Project Management Certification – appropriate accreditation in Project Management from a recognized body (PMP or Prince2)
  • Ability of monitoring and adjusting work to accomplish goals and deliver to the organization’s mandate
  • Stakeholder engagement and relationship management - managing complex partnerships where different parties have a piece of the critical path and different levels of investment in the timelines and outcomes

  • Communications – Exceptional oral and written communications and the ability to communicate effectively across a broad range of stakeholders from executive to technical resources
  • Ability to understand the requirements of each functional area
  • Demonstrated ability leading multi-disciplinary teams in business transformation initiatives and business process design activities to align business systems with new business processes and systems
  • Demonstrated capability to develop and manage a project and resource plan using project management software
  • The ability to deliver programs to time, scope and quality requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage deadlines and deliverables
  • Change Management experience managing change, communicating widely, handling resistance to change and facilitating implementation of successful change actions
  • Ability to identify potential risks and points of resistance and develop specific plans to mitigate or address the concerns
  • Experience identifying issues and resolving them before they become critical
Work Environment1 year with possibility of two 6-month extensions
